What a sad weekend. Just one day after losing Maurizio Pollini, we also have to say goodbye to Hungarian composer Péter Eötvös (1944–2024). One of contemporary music's leading figures, Eötvös had been a regular guest at our Festival since 1987 both as a composer and as conductor.
