@Abhi___69 its necessary for the performance capture they do. Its captured using reflective markers on suits they wear, and to be able to connect those dots and figure out whats an arm, torso etc they go to a known pose (the T Pose) so they can assign the tracked dots correctly.

my favorite moment in GTA 6 is when Michael Franklin and Trevor walk up to Jason and Lucia and say "how bout we commit some Grand Theft Auto" and the camera pans out and the credits roll
