📢 January is @NSAA_org National Safety Month! 🏔️ Last week, Loveland Ski Area and Bandit, one of our amazing avalanche rescue dogs, had the honor of attending the Ski Safety Awareness Breakfast at the state capitol, hosted by @ColoradoSkiUSA. As part of this important month, we had the opportunity to meet with newly elected State Senators and Representatives to discuss ski safety and the crucial role it plays in our industry. Bandit was the star of the show, receiving plenty of pets and photo ops with officials while helping to promote avalanche safety awareness. 🐾📸 We’re so grateful for the chance to advocate for ski safety and connect with leaders who support Colorado’s ski & snowboard community. Huge thanks to @ColoradoSkiUSA for organizing this incredible event! 💙

The Ridge Cat is Now Open! 🚨 Experience FREE snowcat skiing along the Continental Divide! 🌄 Hop aboard the Ridge Cat and explore Loveland’s most exhilarating terrain, including Field of Dreams, Velvet Hammer, Tickler, 13,010, and Marmot (conditions permitting). 📅 Operating Thursday - Sunday 🎟️ What you need: •A valid season pass OR •A lift ticket with a free Ridge Cat Pass (pick one up at the Basin Ticket Office). ⏰ First-come, first-served access. 🎿⛷️ KNOW THE CODE – Stay Safe on the Slopes! 🏔️🏂 January is @NSAA_org National Safety Month, and Loveland Ski Area is proud to join mountains across the country in promoting Your Responsibility Code! Stay safe and use common sense on the slopes by following these guidelines: Your Responsibility Code ✔️ Always stay in control. You must be able to stop or avoid people or objects. ✔️ People ahead or downhill of you have the right-of-way. You must avoid them. ✔️ Stop only where you are visible from above and do not restrict traffic. ✔️ Look uphill and avoid others before starting downhill or entering a trail. ✔️ You must prevent runaway equipment. ✔️ Read and obey all signs, warnings, and hazard markings. ✔️ Keep off closed trails and out of closed areas. ✔️ You must know how and be able to load, ride, and unload lifts safely. If you need assistance, ask the lift attendant. ✔️ Do not use lifts or terrain when impaired by alcohol or drugs. ✔️ If you are involved in a collision or incident, share your contact information with each other and a ski area employee.
