Multiple calls of a house fire in the 2300blk of Magazine St. Battalion is on scene with heavy fire in the rear of a 2 story frame with an exposure on side 2.
I-65 N at Grade Lane: Due to difficulty in extinguishing the fire, multiple engines are now assisting with running water shuttles to the nearest hydrant.
Engines 1, 10, & 15, and Battalion 3 are on scene.
I-65 North is completely shut down at Grade Ln.

Bowman Field: Battalion 4 reports a small Cessna aircraft is overturned and is off of the runway. A HazMat Box + extra equipment was dispatched, BC4 reducing to engine, truck, crash/rescue, and HazMat.

Several large tornadoes caused a path of destruction across western Kentucky overnight last night. The Louisville area was only affected by some strong winds and heavy rain.
Multiple assets from Louisville-area fire departments are responding to western Kentucky this morning.
Hazelwood Ave: Command reports the main body of fire is knocked down and companies on scene have control using three 1.75” handlines.

2nd Street Bridge: MVA with a semi hanging off of the bridge. The cab of the semi is hanging over the water.
Battalion 2 has Command, Chief 3 is Safety.
Rescue 2 being utilized to set up a rope system on the bridge.
Rescue 6 is launching marine assets below the bridge.
I-265 North, just before Bardstown Rd exit: Motor vehicle collision with an overturned vehicle.
Support 253 is reporting 2 entrapments.
Battalion 71 has Command.

KY-841 (Gene Snyder) between Stonestreet Rd and Dixie Hwy: Motor vehicle collision. Quint 86W reporting multiple rescues in multiple vehicles.
Quint 86W has Command, and is special calling Rescue-Engine 88.
Well, it’s official. Engine 1632, Quint 1657, and BC 1603 went out of service for the final time and signed off the Lyndon Fire District. They are now in service at St. Matthews Stations 3 & 4 with Engine 2632, Quint 2657, and BC 2606.

Vehicle vs building. Vehicle is on fire. Full box alarm responding.
Engine 15 reports a vehicle fully involved with communication.
Engine 16 reports heavy fire on the 2nd floor of the building.
9702 Taylorsville Road: Report of the office building of a storage unit complex on fire.
Battalion 51 is on scene reporting a working fire. Battalion 51 has Command.
3600 Georgetown Cir: Multiple calls of an apartment building on fire.
Engine 12 is on scene reporting a working fire on the 2nd floor of a 2-story apartment building.
Battalion 3 has Command.
S 38th St: Command reports main body of fire is knocked down in all three buildings. Primary & secondary searches complete & negative on both exposures. Not been able to make access to the main fire building.
3201 Leith Ln: Multiple calls of an apartment fire. Quint 10 reports nothing showing from a high rise apartment. After investigating, Quint 10 now reporting medium smoke on the 2nd floor.
4212 Kenton Ave: Report of a house fire with a rescue. Caller reports bathroom on fire and husband is still inside the house trying to put the fire out.
Quint 9 is on scene reporting fire on sides 1 & 2.
E Main St: Command reports heavy fire still throughout the main fire building. They’ve kept extension into exposures to a minimum. Multiple master streams still in operation.
Signaling another merger in the Louisville area fire service, Buechel Fire & EMS has signed off permanently, joining Fern Creek Fire & EMS.
Engine 3737, Quint 3755, Med 3787, & Med 3781 are now Engine 7135, Quint 7156, Med 7185, & Med 7186.

The new unit numbering system for Suburban Fire is now in effect. The four-digit unit numbers are no longer in use. Suburban companies now range from Engine 30 through Engine 93.
I-71 South on the ramp to remain on I-71 at the I-264 interchange: Engine 9938 & Truck 2659 on the scene of a working car fire. The ramp is temporarily shut down.

1107 Mulberry St: Report of smoke in the area. Still alarm.
Engine 15 is on scene reporting heavy smoke from the eaves of a residence. Filling out the box.
Mt Marcy Rd: Engine 87W advises primary search of the basement is complete & negative, and the main body of fire was confined to the laundry room.
Command advises companies on scene have control.

1619 S 13th St: Report of flames visible in a window. Truck 3 is initially reported nothing showing from a 2-story apartment; follow up of heavy smoke inside the apartment.
Truck 3W has Command.
Multiple calls of a house on fire in the area of S 22nd Street & Magazine Street. Engine 17 is at 628 S 22nd Street with a working fire and exposures on sides 2 & 4.
Yet again, we’ve reached the point that all warnings for Louisville Metro have expired. The severe threat for the city should be coming to an end.
Multiple fire units are still out chasing wires & trees down. A couple box alarms have gone out, but none “working.”
