I’ve been a bit quiet on here but certainly not idle! Unfortunately, my artistic process is out of sync with the hungry maw of social media. Anyway, here is a new piece called “Petals,” obviously a work in progress. Hope you like it!

Progress on this new silverpoint drawing. This is about 5 hours in on the rendering.

A new silverpoint that I am working on. I’m trying out a different kind of board. So far so good. This piece is 22”x 9”. For the uninitiated, silverpoint involves drawing on a prepared surface with silver wire.

I am working on a new series of works. This is the pencil stage of the 3rd piece (you can see 1&2 in earlier posts). The second photo shows my original sketchbook image which is the focal point of the larger piece.
