Rare earths are used in manufactured goods. Stargate Data centers will require some of those manufactured goods but will not need any rare earth minerals in their raw forms. Most of the electronics for the Stargate data centers will actually most likely come from China, south korea or Vietnam.

@DazzleWill @BraveChoctaw @DerrickEvans4WV No use speculating when you can find out for certain when the government receives them.

We already have national and state parks as well as other protected land for that. The tree farms for paper do not as far as I'm aware encroach on those parks. The tree farms all use land permitted by the government for farm usage. The argument you're making for reducing the size of these tree farms could be used for other types of farms. Should we reduce the land we use to grow corn and raise cows? Far more farm permitted land is used to grow corn and raise cattle then what's used to grow and harvest trees for paper.

Is that really a problem? I don't think paper farming is something that anyone should be worried about. The paper industry creats a lot of good jobs for american workers. Paper literally grows on trees and those trees at least in the US are farmed sustainably so that Paper farms in the US are not in the business of deforestation. I'm all for getting rid of paper straws but that doesn't mean we need to get rid of the paper industry as a whole.

I'm pretty sure there are specific tree farms designated for paper production here in America, at least. The amount of paper produced yearly is too significant to not have farms specifically dedicated to growing trees for paper. At least in the US, paper production isn't contributing much, if at all, to deforestation.

Trump ran on America first. sending money anywhere outside the US is contrary to an America first agenda. And yes that would include sending money to Israel to fund their war against Hamas. It's an utter disgrace that every US taxpayer dollar isn't being used in a way that directly serves the interests of the American people.

It's a better use of people's time and resources to address the largest problems first. If India and China aren't fully on board with reducing their plastic pollution, anything the US does will be marginal at best. Even if the EU and the US reduced their pollution to 0%, there would still be a major pollution problem. Instead of making everyone use paper straws, it would be better to have everyone switch to using bioplastics, which are biodegradable.

@Nyles233 @SynPDX @IsaiLara1 @n10zguy @WhiteHouse @googlemaps @Google It's a hypothetical of course but I'm pretty sure the real reason was creating a loophole in the regulations on oil projects in the gulf. The stated reasons were probobly just a cover so that people wouldn't notice the loophole being created.

Citizens of Canada are Canadians, Citizens of Mexico are Mexicans, Citizens of Cuba are Cubans, Citizens of Guatemala are Guatemalans, Citizens of Colombia are Colombians, Citizens of Argentina are called Argentines, etc. etc. etc. Need I go on? You're literally the first person I've come across who's had a problem with Citizens of the United States of America being the Americans.
