@ChrisChattin @quantian1 Mentioned it above but this happens in flight-tests all the time. There's nothing magic about Mach 1. It's cool that they got to Mach 1.2 but Mach 1 is really a bit of an arbitrary line. Rooting for them for sure, but the "first civil airplane to go supersonic" stuff isn't true.

@quantian1 Even all their press about "the first civil aircraft to go supersonic" is pretty laughable since this routinely happens when aircraft designed to fly in the high transonic region do dive-speed tests.
