When I announced my commitment to Morningside, people bashed me for going NAIA because of THEIR “beliefs” of not playing competition and me being too talented for that. Months later, I am a NATIONAL CHAMPION. S/o to my brothers and this program man I’m forever thankful.
I’ve always been the type of person to take the road less traveled. A year from now you’ll see what I mean.

Recruits: Don’t skip over the part where he said “No matter the level.” That D1 or bust mentality is very outdated. Don’t miss out on an opportunity of a lifetime thinking you’re too big for a program.
Don’t let recruiting discourage you. It has the ability to get your emotions out of whack, both for players and parents. Don’t expect college coaches to be your friends, because this is not a friendship. This is just a business; some coaches will think you are good, while.

For 2 years these guys have been gettin to school with me at 6:30am on Thursday’s for extra work in the weight room. I’m sad today was our last Thursday, but I can’t wait to watch them tear it up next year at @MizzouFootball and @NavyFB. Incredibly proud of their hard work.
