Northern Ireland doesn’t need another layer of segregated education. Have a secular state system, teach Irish @ GCSE (optional) like French and if you want a niche or religious education - pay for it.
I have always thought there is more to unite working class communities than divide us, but I’m struggling to understand the animosity being shown to an Irish language school. how is that a threat to any person’s identity?
