Amazon contracts their freight. They do not lease on contractors, to haul Amazon you need to be a Motor Carrier. This lowers Amazon’s liability. Their freight pays cheap, and so it’s largely bottom feeding unsafe carriers who haul those trailers

For reference this was 5/18/2018 when I was around my heaviest in the 270’s. A bumpy road, unconventional, but we’re here. And have quite the road ahead!
Humbling to come this far. The last time I physically weighed 178 was May of 2011, which is when I was returning from Afghanistan. Two staunchly different people though. In 2011 I had some strength from weights we had, but not this 2024 endurance with it.

Three years ago I started running because I didn’t know what OTR lifestyle would be like. I hated running, even when I was in the Marines.
2-2.5mi was painful. Knees hurt, calves puffy.
Since then I’ve ran 5 full marathons, and THIS MORNING a 1mi PR @ 5:43
Consistency wins.

Drivers you should be squatting more. Requires no equipment, can be done anywhere, and multiple modifications. Builds strength better then planks to improve posture, increases bone mineral density, burns calories. Set a small daily attainable goal, hit it for a week and stack on.
