EIP-4844 and Danksharding will not solve fee spikes for Ethereum's Single Threaded VMs. Two Issues cause fee spikes:.- bandwidth saturation.- competition for priority access to state. We've seen fee spikes on Arbitrum, Optimism, and Base. Why is that? It's because they can not.

The entire industry owes Ethereum for expanding what was possible with Turing complete blockchains. Yet, many in the Ethereum community don't seem to understand why the market is no longer aligned. The original Ethereum vision that brought me into the space was "World Computer,".
Seeing many ETH heads basically walk away from their bags, both literally and figuratively. It might be underperforming rn but I simply can’t bring myself to abandon the only approach to blockchains which has long term viability. Abandoning ETH is like abandoning crypto itself.
