Lots of parents/carers joined Santa, Sparkles and Ding-Dong as they created more mayhem and mischief after break. They arrived blasting music, spraying foam and passing sweets. A huge thank you to our parents and also the team from the North Pole for making this happen. 🎅 🎄

What an incredible time our P2-3 learners had at

today. They really enjoyed finding out so much about our ocean, rainforests and conservation. A huge thank you to the staff who gave up so much time to support on this trip. Thank you also to the Deep Sea World team!

Those naughty elves were up to their tricks again and SABOTAGED our Christmas song assembly by making our Christmas songs rude, wrapping our former HT up (and making Santa unwrap her) and hiding near the ceiling throwing snowballs! Alas, we didn’t manage the song practice.

Hallowe'en at Lochnell 🎃 We still managed a parade by adapting it this year to make sure it was Covid friendly! Fantastic costumes all round and now we are enjoying a well-deserved Hallowe'en afternoon, complete with goody bags from our fabulous parent council! 👻

Our tree is now on display at St Conan’s Kirk this Friday to Sunday (1st-3rd December) as part of the 2023 Christmas tree festival. Visitors are able to vote for their favourite tree. A huge thank you to Mrs McCrindle for organising this for our school and ELC!

P7 are reading ‘Holes’ by Louis Sachar, and so, on Friday they went to Tralee to dig holes 5ft wide and 5ft deep - as described in the book - to get a real sense of what this felt like. Maths, physical activity AND outdoor learning all in one experience to help literacy learning.
