@Mike_Pence Mr. Pence, you do not grasp the history. Suffice to say, US policy threw Ukraine to the wolves long before Trump engaged in politics. The annexed regions will go to Russia, and Russia, US and EU will help out Ukraine to rebuild the significant remains.

Russia was never going to give up Crimea with Sevastopol with their only warm water access and a historic Russian Naval base since year 1783. So, that was a huge miscalculation by the US. So that annexed region stays with Russia. The other eastern regions will also stay with Russia. They were neglected by Ukraine, and the people are closer to Russia. US should not have meddled all those years leading up the the CIA led Maidan Coup. Russia, US, EU should all participate in helping rebuilding the significant remains of Ukraine.
