Senator, what's the purpose of the @USGAO? I thought they were supposed to be making DOGE type decisions. I see millions of recommendations on Waste, Abuse, Fraud given to Federal agencies but I'm not sure the cure rate. Maybe we need some penalties for departments that don't follow USGAO and DOGE findings as it relates to Waste, Abuse, Fraud. @DOGE

Tonight Governor @GregAbbott_TX made it clear that Texas recognizes ONLY TWO GENDERS: Male and Female and if teachers are caught telling boys that they can be girls and girls they can't be boys they should be fired immediately!!! We must MAKE OUR CLASSROOMS SAFE AGAIN!!!

Constituents in my District continue to express sincere concerns regarding the proposed Zapata elementary school campus closure at La Joya independent school district, Texas. Today, I strongly recommended the appointed Board of Managers, Conservator and Superintendent delay any action of school closure until additional authentic stakeholder engagements are had including delaying the proposed Board action on this matter on January 29, 2025.
