In the UK you have something called a TV licence. It costs $210 a year, and funds the BBC. Now they have lost USAID money they will push harder than ever to increase TV licence fees.

When you go for a job you have to take a test or have some qualifications to prove you can do the job. Every 4 years the UK votes in a new leader with no testing or qualifications. Financial literacy and common sense should be tested for.
