Livermore Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect believed to be responsible for killing two people over the weekend.
The suspect has been identified as 30-year-old Yonston Vazquez of Oakland. Here are photos of him.

Last night, around 11:45 a.m., Livermore Police responded to a report of a person who had been robbed at gunpoint by an apartment complex on East Avenue.
When officers were responding to the location, they saw the suspect’s vehicle driving off at a high rate of speed turning
At 335 pm our SWAT team members and K9 officer entered the residence after negotiations and chemical agents failed to get the suspect to exit. SWAT team members were able to take the suspect into custody without injuries.
It’s with a heavy heart, the Livermore Police Department announces the passing of retired K9 Bugsy. Bugsy passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 while at home with his family.
K9 Bugsy proudly served the citizens of Livermore from 2013 until his retirement in 2019.

Officers arrested four people from Fresno on Sunday at/near the San Francisco Premium Outlets in

for possession of stolen cars, property. Two guns were also recovered including 9 mm ghost gun (pictured). It’s believed the suspects are part of an organized retail crew.

Two kids, ages 10 and 12, found a firearm while on a bike ride yesterday. The kids didn’t touch the gun and immediately called LPD for help. A fantastic example of great decision making! Consider using this as a teaching moment to your kids as well!! 👏
Last night, K9 Drake and his partner were patrolling the area of North P Street (K9 Drake was hoping to get a puppy patty snack from McDonald’s) when they were tipped off that a person was selling illegal fireworks from their vehicle in the parking lot.
