9am Crown St Park weekly meeting, litter and 2 small jobs to be done today. Drop on/out. Notoriously difficult to get volunteers at this time of year, so all help is welcome. Probably finish up round 10.30am Warmer days are coming 🌞 ☀️ 🌤 🌎

The good thing about us having a supply of spray paint is that jobs like this take seconds to do. No need for messy graffiti remover or paint brushes. I was actually impressed that these stayed graffiti free for about 8 months. Someone had tagged 3 of them but all good now 😁

Everyday challenge, risk your life to get across here. Tunnel/Durning/Wavertree Rd crossing, needs to be made safer

@MHowie81 @Naz_EdgeHill @CarlCashman @PennyLnWombles Absolutely, not sure why the opposite crossing got a pedestrians island but this side got nothing, you need to be comming from Wavertree Rd on the side of the new housing estate to get over safely. If you come from the direction of Tunnel Rd you are risking your life

Fed up living beside this. We shouldnt have to deal with this. Thankfully @Naz_EdgeHill & @lpool_LSSL are taking action but its a long road. There should be laws to allow access to private land when left in such bad condition
We must need to strengthen enforcement since some private landlords and landowners are shameful 😕, and bring disgrace to our community. @sam_east96 @LitterClear @lpool_LSSL

Would you like to live next to this, its disgusting, hazardous & makes me ashamed of where I live. We put effort into keeping the area clean & tidy. This house was bought & abandoned. Owner needs to secure their premises to stop further flytipping. Any advice would be great

The Wednesday team on Smithdown were down to 2. Looking forward to the brighter & warmer evenings & some extra hands. Although the support from Sandra in the @lpool_LSSL sweeper van is cutting our work in half, really makes a visible difference Thanks team @SewLittleToSay 🌎

Great work from the team at Crown St Park today. A rescued Christmas tree, 2 bags of reducing litter plus in and around the benches and gym equipment all cleared of overgrowth. What a glorious day. Well done team 🌎

Crown St Park after our team worked their magic. If anyone would like to join us, we meet at 9am every Saturday morning, its a drop in session, come & go as you please. During the colder months we are on site until approx 11am. 🌎

Crown St Park event, every Sat 9am. This morning the team of 6 removed a play kitchen from a tree and 4 big bags of litter. The park was looking fantastic afterwards, well done all 🌎

@MHowie81 KLT started off ok, engaging with community litter picking groups, asking what support was needed, what resources would be helpful. Unfortunately 5 meetings later - zero delivery & it disappeared, so much so that one of our very own volunteers had to create a KLT landing page
