@LisaIDpharmD; @NoahBID; @DrJaymoGR: Outpatient prescribing for purulent cellulitis in obesity was highly variable across a MI health system. Nearly 1/2 were underdosed. Extended durations did not impact treatment success.

Great presentation by @bryan_p_white on optimal durations of therapy for empyema which is currently an “evidence light” area of practice. 2-6 weeks currently recommended based on limited data - shorter probably better for some? Loved the personal letter to end! #IDWeek2024
