Fantastic News for us small brewers!
A huge win today for SIBA's #MakeIt20 campaign to extend the discounted draught duty rate from 40l containers down to 20 and 30 litre, meaning all small brewers will benefit. Thanks to the Chancellor @KwasiKwarteng and @hmtreasury who #MadeIt20

@PeteBrownBeer @tabamatu Sadly, I do feel untappd influences some bars purchases. I have lost sales before as people have told me it's not scored high enough. Good landlords know to ignore it but sadly with the huge choice of beer, I feel like people are just looking for any metric to help them decide.

@tabamatu Very much know the feeling. Lager that I spent ages researching, bought deionised water and german pilsner malt, traditionally lagered for 8 weeks, German brewer loved. 3.57. 2nd DIPA ever, 4.22. :-(
