Mostly cause they cut this opening sequence on earth. Setting aside the story and whether it’s original or not, Jake is a not a character the audience can really engage with because he’s just kinda boring. This scene being in the movie would have gone a long way to fix that.

A while ago we were supposed to get a movie called “Next Stop Paris”. It was meant to be entirely AI generated, from the characters, to the story, visuals, everything. When the movie was released on YouTube it featured real actors, usually in real locations. AI is fraud.
