When I recently heard the term "AI Native" used to refer to young people & their relationship with #AI, it made me angry😠To channel my frustration I wrote a blog post explaining why we shouldn't apply problematic labels to groups of learners based on age.

An email just arrived advertising a data science conference in Europe later this year. I checked it out with interest, only to find a complete lack of gender diversity among all keynote speakers & conference chairs. Disappointing to see this still happening in academia 😕

I created an MS Form for faculty educators to share how they're using #AI in their teaching. After setting up Qs on what, why, & how (w/ no ref to academic integrity issues), Microsoft made the follow Q suggestion. Seems AI's assumption about AI is use for nefarious purposes 😆
