When you mint an LST-NFT, you deposit your LST to an on-chain PDA.
When your LST-NFT is dissolved, the PDA that the NFT is associated with is unlocked enabling you to redeem the LST.

How does the project benefit from LST-NFTs?
If 5 $SOL was locked into 10k NFTs as LSTs, there would be 50,000 $SOL generating yield for the project.
At 8% APY, that 50k $SOL would grow an additional 5,978 $SOL. 📈

Even with that in mind, a key indicator that ppl look for when measuring the success of a project is the floor price. 📉
Sadly, the price action doesn't seem to properly reflect their effort.
Sitting at 0.20 $SOL, that's a far cry from the original ~5 $SOL mint price. 😅

At the time, 1 $SOL = $19.73 and with 10k NFTs minting for at least $100, the Oogy team made ~$1 mil. 🔥
The math:
🐸 $100 = ~5 $SOL at the time

As of now, 8 months later, Crypto Undead NFTs sit at a floor of 0.67 $SOL per NFT.
Less than half the value of their 3 $SOL mint and down nearly ~95.53% from ATH of ~15 $SOL.
But value of NFTs should not be the sole metric to judge the success of a project. 📉

First, some background:
Crypto Undeads launched on January 17th, 2024. Minting out for a solid 3 $SOL at a supply of 10,000 NFTs.
At the time, $SOL went for ~$90. Bringing the cost for a single NFT to ~$270. With 10,000 NFTs, Crypto Undeads raised ~$2,700,000 before fees.

As a project with the intent to "create one of the strongest IPs on Solana" and no other memorable launches at the time, the Solana ecosystem was captivated.🤩

It can be custom to the project.
If a project wants folks to be able to dissolve NFTs from Day 1, they can.
If they want a minimum lock-up time to ensure a fixed and minimum level of yield (ie. 3 months), we aim to accommodate that too.

Where a project could maintain the Lilypad mint page and allow for unlimited minting of NFTs.
Even setting a max cap, so when (X) NFTs are dissolved, (X) NFTs are then automatically made mintable out of 10,000 NFTs until the max supply is once again met.
