So I have an interesting theory about how Marshall ties into Paw Patrol Movie 03. Given his rank and role on the team, I’m thinking perhaps he was rescued from a fire or something. Perhaps his desire to heal injuries and stop fires comes from some kind of past traumatic event.

I’m also native myself. My Dad and Mom are both of Native descent, each of their own country. My Dad is Chilean and my Mom is Ecuadorian. That makes me a mixed blood. However because I have some European roots, my skin is lighter than that of my brother and sister.

I agree. I’m not Hawaiian, but I’ve met and seen enough natives to know most of them are dark or tan skinned. Sure there are a few who have mostly European features, but that doesn’t mean we should cast plain ol white people for Native roles unless they have native blood too.
