I was a teenage alcoholic, addicted to drugs by the time I was 18. Made one bad decision after the next that cost me and my family lost time and opportunities. Got saved in 1990 relapsed in 1995. Then God said, I will RESTORE the years… I’ve been clean and sober ever since.

I have a new gig. I’m my 19 y/o son’s assistant coach. (3rd/4th) grade. We get beat often but we are winning. Why? They have fun. Play man 2 man D. Learning to play off 2. Learning to communicate on both ends. Never sub out without dabbing up your teammate. Bench energy matters!

Proud dad alert. She doesn’t play AAU, but she LOVES playing with her friends and classmates. I worry about the future of HS athletics, but I believe HS sports make a difference. Hannah is proof that it’s still relevant and still has a place in the life of the student athlete.

Both of my parents had brothers who were killed in action. This weekend I honor the sacrifice of my uncles, Staff Sargent Joseph Sorbino and CPL. Joseph McNulty. Time has a way of making our heroes seem older. But in fact, they were all so young.
