On September 26th 2019 I tried to commit suicide… after years of living in quiet desperation and trying to cover the pain and trauma from childhood. Why did I get to this point? Years and years of “brushing things under the carpet” including God.

I would speak often aloud to my grandad (who had tragically passed at the time) looking for support looking for guidance. It was Chris Nash who said “what if it wasn’t him but someone else?” This was the starting of a wonderful opening for me to see God as a reality.

From young I didn't get the basics of a full upbringing. One of the most embarassing examples of this was not being toilet trained before I went to school. The chaos at home & lack of a supportive community meant that there was no one there to insist I was getting what I needed.
