Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the green keepers have put some temporary measures in place for anyone playing the golf course. We have turned the hole cups upside down so that when the ball goes in, it will sit at the top of the hole for you

Today the golf course was very close to being closed BUT we kept it open as an option to people to play whilst warning them how wet it was and closing it for competition purposes , to then have people complain is a tad upsetting, we do out best to provide a service

If you’re thinking that winter means you need to invest in ‘hedgehog’ wheels for your trolley, maybe invest in a pencil bag instead.
A lot easier to carry one of them and protect your course than it is to push a weight through soft ground 👍🏼⛳️

It's that time of year , to get all year round drier Greens our slitting regime always starts around this time , the greens are cut immediately afterwards and hardly any difference in roll is experienced , this will take place weekly from now into the winter period

Today the greens have been sprayed with a wetting agent and a light fertiliser , the rain coming in should help kick the greens on a little , the wetting agent will help get more moisture into the soil , please be aware it has been one of the coldest driest April on record ,
