@Thunder_Rider_X @appppi1955121 @VeeFaux @MarquisKartaga You fail to take into account that you can say now that the Croatian national language is English because we have so many documents and books written in it. Latin was the lingua franca of the time. It was not the national language common people didn't speak it.

@Thunder_Rider_X @appppi1955121 @VeeFaux @MarquisKartaga That is true, Italian identity was imposed and pushed on Venetians, while for example Ragusans(residents of the Republic of Dubrovnik) constantly called themselves Croatian/Illyrians/Slavijanians interchangeably which was a synonym for Croatians as proven by historians.

@Thunder_Rider_X @appppi1955121 @VeeFaux @MarquisKartaga This doesn't prove that Croats used Latin as their national language. If a document between the church and the king is written in Latin that doesn't prove that Croats mostly used Latin or that it was national language, Look at the Baška tablet and Law code of Vinodol.

@Thunder_Rider_X @appppi1955121 @VeeFaux @MarquisKartaga This tells me that you don't understand Slavic migration to modern-day Croatia. While my people carry 30% of Illyro-romanic gene overall, in Dalmatia that percentage is much higher, by haplogroups we are more Slavic than illyro-romanic.

@Thunder_Rider_X @appppi1955121 @VeeFaux @MarquisKartaga Learn how to write and comprehend properly. Saying that Croats had Latin as a national is a complete fallacy, and that negates Croatian nationality. Learn the history and stop spewing propaganda on the internet. Also, claiming Venetians and Historians were Illyrian is ignorant

@appppi1955121 @Thunder_Rider_X @VeeFaux @MarquisKartaga How come Italians ruled Roman Empire since most of its greatest Emperors were not even from modern-day Italia and most of those didn't even have an ounce of Italian genes

@appppi1955121 @Thunder_Rider_X @VeeFaux @MarquisKartaga How can Italian identity be born during the Roman Empire, and then you state it lasted during the first Punic War which was during the Republic? You are losing yourself. By the end of the first century, Roman identity was not even tied to the people of the Apeninian peninsula

@Thunder_Rider_X @appppi1955121 @VeeFaux @MarquisKartaga While this is true you need to be more factually correct when you are claiming other things. Statements that Croat identity emerged in 19. century is a complete falsehood.

@appppi1955121 @VeeFaux @MarquisKartaga You mean gene study book hahaha this is not history data. This further proves my point while you have Roman genes half of Italy was race-mixed and has little to no Roman genes. And this study of closeness of two ethnicity is flawed representation of genetic picture.

@Thunder_Rider_X @appppi1955121 @VeeFaux @MarquisKartaga As for the claim that Venetians and Histrians were Ilyrian, it is completely false and has been debunked. They are Venetic people, one embraced Italian and other embraced Croatian identity

@appppi1955121 @VeeFaux @MarquisKartaga Claiming Roman Republic ia like Croats claiming Illyrian heritage and through that we can claim also Rome since some of the roman Emperors were from Illyricum

@appppi1955121 @VeeFaux @MarquisKartaga Moder day Italians are not Romans, while you do share genetics and are culturaly ties to them you had alot of race mixing in middle ages, among other things with arabs in souther italy. Maybe only the Italians from Rome and Lazio can can clame somewhat of Roman genes.

@appppi1955121 @VeeFaux @MarquisKartaga Italians don't have 3000 thousand year old history. At best you have 1300 years of history, amd that is generous, which would put you about as same as Croatians. Italia as roman province had had about 1000 years of history, if you add the two it ia nowhere mear to 3000 years.
