Mobile Library Service Cessation At its meeting on 19 December 2024 the council approved a recommendation to remove the mobile library service from operation. The 3 mobile libraries will be removed from service from Monday 3 March 2025. The home delivery service will remain and all mobile library users will be given the opportunity to access this service. Mobile library customers with outstanding loans will be able to return them to their nearest library. Mobile library customers with outstanding reservations will be able to pick them up at their nearest branch. The online eLibrary service (Borrowbox) is also available to customers. Our Children's Team will be at the Summerlee Science Fest at Summerlee Museum from Friday 14 February to Wednesday 19 February. It's going to be a super fun event. You can take part in our banner competition for this year's Summer Reading Challenge too. Visit the team at the event to find out more.

We are looking to set up a new Musical Instrument Library within #KilsythLib. If you have spare guitars, ukuleles, small keyboards or similar, they could find a new home in the library. Donate them from when the library reopens on Monday 10 February.
