I think most people don’t realize this is actually what Republicans are trying to do right now.
Under the current administration and leadership, the GOP is a party that will brag about “repealing” Obamacare subsidies and then bring them back to offer to Democrats in exchange for the Democrats’ agreeing to extend Biden’s spending levels. You can’t even make this stuff up.
