@pastors4txkids Affluent families always had school choice - they can afford to pay for private schools or move to a neighborhood served by good public schools. Vouchers give poor families a choice to leave the failing govt school their zip code forces them to attend. Get it now, fake pastors?

I have an idea. Amendment to eliminate all direct federal taxes on people and businesses and instead require the federal government to bill the states for their pro rata share of federal spending and let the states figure out the most effective way to levy and collect taxes.

Amendment to eliminate all direct federal taxes on people and businesses and instead require the federal government to bill the states for their pro rata share of federal spending and let the states figure out the most effective way to levy and collect taxes.

AYE. I think the federal government should establish a budget and the states should be billed on their pro-rata share. No more direct federal taxes on people or businesses except import duties. Then let the states figure out the best way to tax their citizens.
