@KonstantinKisin Well I watched it and I don't think Kemi did herself any harm. She is less wooden than most politicians, but she does need to go and 'do the work' as she would put it. The results of that work will be her fate I would think.

@pegobry_en Probably more to worry from someone like Vance too, who will be taking a whole lot of notes in the next few years.

@bencobley 'Community Leader' is another, related field of people with no expertise and it is often unclear how they acquired the title, such as it is.

@db_fink I don't recall much history at school beyond the Romans. Even in secondary school it was 45 minutes a week and much of that was crowd control.

@WolfgangSheiser @AnnaLongthorp @UKLabour Going up in April. 1/4 of our household income goes on council tax atm. Food budget last week was 10 quid for two of us. 7 quid this week, thankfully got a few bits left to cobble some meals together.

@unherd @arisroussinos Once you get to the stage where the state seems at war with most of it's citizens and nothing seems to function anymore, the question of what's next is less immediate than clearing out the dead wood. After that it's fingers crossed that someone figures it out.

@GoodwinMJ Even if Badenoch did want to do that, I am not sure the party would support it, given their form in this area. Until she has a block of MPs who will follow her, she has no chance really.

@DrHWazir Not surprised given the insistence of 111 sending an ambulance for almost anything. We live 10 minutes from the hospital but 111 will suggest we wait several hours for an ambulance rather than take my daughter in ourselves 🤔

@NoFarmsNoFoods I drove round what used to be the edge of Northampton the other day, all fields not very long ago. Now it's all houses, as far as the eye can see. Not even pretty houses either.

@bencobley I don't think there is anything revolutionary about most people who like slogans like this - they just want something to put on a t-shirt, a meme to share and the dopamine hit from the moment of righteous anger. Ultimately no deeper than that though.

@GeoffNorcott It wouldn't be a surprise if many working at these news outlets agree with him. I can't see any other reason why they are reporting it as softly.

@witandstars I think you have to lean into it. The more you resist it, the harder it is. Post-dx I realised how much stress I had put myself under trying to be like everyone else.

@WhetstoneSDP @SuzanneEvans1 At worst it is an open secret. Quite a few groups of people think the government is trying to assist them into the grave these days.

@Shrink_at_Large The thing is with autism the aversion to change often affect all or most areas of life, so of course to the change loving NT it is incomprehensible and actually most discourse in society is about new this, new that. It is very disorientating dealing with constant change.

@WilliamClouston So they destroy the jobs, then cut the unemployment benefits, then offer you assistance in dying... Well, you can't say Labour doesn't have a plan at least...
