Stop waiting for the “right time” to fix your supply chain. All it takes is one second of courage: Decide to be done with hesitation ↳ Stop waiting for the “right time.” ↳ Choose a new mindset right now. Break free from old habits ↳ Refuse to let manual processes and outdated systems control you. ↳ Momentum starts the moment you do. Kill the version of you that settles ↳ That person is holding you back. ↳ Embrace the supply chain you need. Understand transformation is immediate ↳ It doesn’t take years. ↳ It takes one act of defiance. Start today ↳ The only thing standing in your way is you. ↳ Begin your journey now. Stop telling yourself it’s a long process. ♻️ Repost this if you agree. PS: What’s one outdated habit in your supply chain that you’re ready to leave behind?

@BamaBass When I was a rookie I would’ve booked that load without counting deadhead miles and would’ve felt like a total badass

Sounds like something is not right here.
So, let me get this straight. I'm busting my ass, trying to keep my 17 hotels afloat – 17 hotels, people, and managing another 11 – during a pandemic that damn near wiped a lot of folks out. Occupancy plummeted. Revenue tanked. I managed to weather the storm, thankfully, but it was a close call. And while all this was happening… WHILE… I'm reading about how Politico, the New York Times, and the World Economic Forum – profitable businesses, mind you – are getting showered with tens of millions in aid? Tens. Of. Millions. Not pandemic relief, mind you, but USAID funding. During the past administration. Coincidence? Thanks to @elonmusk and @DOGE , the curtain's been pulled back a bit, and what do we see? A bunch of grift and a lot of politicians lining their pockets. This wasn't about helping small businesses like mine, the ones that were actually struggling. No, this was something else. It smells like influence peddling. A big, fat, taxpayer-funded payoff. They're playing Santa Claus with our money, handing out gifts to their cronies. It's like a Vegas casino in Washington, and we're all the suckers at the table. Just imagine what that money could have done for actual struggling businesses. Imagine the jobs it could have saved. Imagine the real good it could have done. But no, that's not how this works, is it? Instead, it's funneled for partisan purposes, corruption, fraud and waste, all while they preach about "equity" and "fairness." The hypocrisy is astounding. And don't even get me started on the deficit. Our kids are going to be paying for this obscene display of corporate welfare for generations. They'll be the ones footing the bill for these "aid" parties. This isn't just about me. It's about every small business owner, every taxpayer, every American who's sick and tired of seeing their hard-earned money wasted on this kind of blatant cronyism. It's time to call these people out. It's time to demand some accountability.

Most supply chain managers work to escape. I work to be present. That’s how true leadership in logistics should feel. But here’s what happens when you build the wrong supply chain strategy: You might save on costs. But you’ll have zero flexibility when disruptions hit. You might meet deadlines. But lose your peace dealing with FDA holds and compliance issues. The reality? Most supply chain managers: Can’t step away from firefighting shipment delays. Can’t stop worrying about temperature-controlled logistics. Can’t enjoy a day off without their phone blowing up. That’s not a supply chain. That’s a prison. Real success is when people look at your operations and think everything runs effortlessly. But it does. Just differently. More intentionally. More efficiently. What’s one thing in your supply chain that keeps you up at night, and how do you think it could be solved?

@NewTruckerMike Definitely! I’m realizing that it’s a small world in the logistics world in general

It’s a small mindset shift But I started reading posts as a creator, not as a consumer and it changed the way I’ve consumed social media. In logistics, I did the opposite. I tried selling as the creator and instead now I try to put myself in the consumers shoes and approach our business that way.

@FreightAlley Thanks for sharing those insights. Just shows how there’s so much things going on in the fine print that many people never find out about.

For sure! Just like I like to say. I’m glad I got in a few first fights in my life. There’s no way better to learn a new life lesson than when you’re humbled by a punch.
In the three years I’ve been on X, I’ve eaten humble pie so many times. From takes on family, kids, business... I’ve made many dumb and inexperienced comments. Getting destroyed publicly has been, in hindsight, incredibly valuable. And, tbh, more of you would benefit from that.
