Leaving Rabbit: Labor Day was a good opportunity to collect thoughts and introspect, which allows us to review the decisions we have made, appreciate the beauty in our lives, and, as a technologist, the various artifacts we create. I recently left Rabbit

Felt like yesterday when we were sketching out the OS in spring, and Jesse & Jesper were designing r1 in autumn. Standalone device (because app stores are tricky to deal with...), $199, no subscription (because AI is cheaper than you think!): we will do everything we could to put

A quick explanation on how login works on rabbithole: 1. We provide you with a "box" over VNC (virtual network computing) for a few minutes to log into apps that LAM eventually operates. We search for certain states that we can use to restore your session, then encrypt them for

Just to be very clear: this is not a source code leak. The client code that lives on the container during the login process is designed to be public. Here's more insights into how the process works:

there are always malicious actors who try to discredit companies on the rise. this is a perfect example of a desperate social engineering attempt directed at rabbit – and a weak one at that. this is not a source code leak, it is a simple reverse engineering job of code that we

I'd like to think that this goes beyond a simple tease/dunk: agents don't live in a vacuum. They interact with apps designed for humans. As more and more agents populate the internet, all kinds of behaviors from apps will emerge: cooperative, random, and adversarial. This is

I trained a small (64x64) diffusion model that generates traditional Chinese art. It's reasonably good in the sense that I can't really tell which one is real & which one is synthesized :)

We realized that connecting users to service providers is hard. Most do not have full-fledged APIs/plugins and we don't want to bound users to a single provider through exclusive deals. So we built an AI model that operates these apps on traditional OS, on your behalf.

@AravSrinivas @vkhosla I think semantically, apps are easier than we’d like to think, and we can go very far in serving the majority of consumers in the most frequent use cases. e.g. Uber is just about getting from A to B, and some context on shortly what happens before A and after B. If we extract

I guess in a few years a lot will be written about engineering practices when interfacing with end-to-end, highly configurable neural systems. Developing, monitoring and scaling them presents new types of challenges from infrastructure, research and software development.
