📈New story: More people are benefitting from NICE-recommended statins to reduce heart attacks and strokes.👇 #CVD
Following NICE guidance, a record 5.3M people in England were given NICE-recommended statins or ezetimibe by their GP in 2023/24, to lower cholesterol and reduce #CVD risk. This was nearly 900k more than last year and the largest increase since 2016/17
