Whew your environment can very literally be your only set back! I have a potential collab in the works but my crib isn’t upper echelon with all the aesthetic razzle dazzle with glitter on my wall. 🥲 I’m awaiting the response from the brand. Fingers crossed!

So while ugc is an amazing way to make passive income for YALL, it’s not that easy for us. I shouldn’t have to pitch diversity to a brand just to become their token black girl. The only black person they use to vouch for their diversity! THIS is why I’m ANTI PAY FLEXING!
It’s frustrating to see UGC presented as a level playing field for all creators when, in reality, that isn’t the case—especially for Black creators. The lack of Black representation in UGC isn’t a coincidence; it’s a reflection of ongoing exclusion.
