Huge thank you to Neighbours, the local rfs, neighbouring brigades who came to help and those who sent messages seeing if more help was needed. Lost 90 odd bales but managed to save a lot from burning as well. Could of been a lot worse considering the wind that was around.

It’s that time of year- reflooring the canola front and renewing the mechanics. This part couldn’t be found so having to make a new one as no idea what the original was off and the brains trust can’t remember. At least I can make it how we want!

Went shopping for flanged bolts yesterday but walked out with this hose reel. 15m and is exactly what we’ve talked about needing for the spot sprayer for a long time now.

@cropmad I used to put a fitted canvas cover over the outside of the unit. I also have adjustable levers on the vents inside that I put in closed position. Our new unit has a flap that only opens when unit running.

Found a way to get the boss in the side by side. Only mistake was forgot that the sling had slipped down trying to get him out and he ended up laying down on the job 🫣😂😂
