Eagles games are a family experience for me. I grew up going to games with my grandfather, yet had never watched an Eagles Super Bowl with him. That changed tonight. While many guys my age were celebrating on Broad Street, I was glad to be watching with my grandpa. Go Birds.

Once I saw a company justify spending over $2M on something where there was a free alternative. Companies spend stupid money on stupid things. Governments clearly do too.
You people are overreacting. It’s not like taxpayers are sending $8.1 million/year to Politico. Politico has a premium tier that costs an average of $34,000/year and federal agencies have used taxpayer funds to purchase 236 subscriptions.

As happy as I am to see the hostages go home, is it really necessary to film when they're reunited with their loved ones? The Bibas family has asked for privacy in this bittersweet time, yet the cameras were rolling when Yarden and his mother reunited. Just feels wrong.
Statement from the family of Yarden Bibas: Yarden is home. A quarter of our heart has returned to us after 15 long months. There are no words to describe the relief of holding Yarden in our hands, embracing him, and hearing his voice. Yarden has returned home, but his home remains incomplete. Yarden is a father who left his safe room to protect his family, bravely survived captivity, and returned to an unbearable reality. At this time, we ask: Protect Yarden. Protect his soul. Please respect his privacy and give him the space he needs so that his body and soul can begin to recover. Thank you to our beautiful people. Thank you to our soldiers. Thank you and we're sorry to all those who sacrificed their lives so this day could come. We will take a few days to reunite with Yarden, but we continue with hope and the call for the return of Shiri, the children, and all the hostages.
