You’re absolutely right - this was a failure of leadership. Emergency plans are worthless if they aren’t practiced and refined regularly. And they're especially worthless if the plans exists, but the equipment and resources - like water- aren't available to facility the emergency plan execution. People shouldn’t have to suffer because those in charge didn’t prioritize preparedness.

Ok, this hits home with me. May many of you as well. How many times, as children were your days turned around, simply because you found and awesome stick? For me, the answer would be many. Not that my days were "bad," but I certainly had some boring ones now and then. All saved by an awesome stick! 😁

@JeniAndHerCat I am! We just got back from 4 days and 3 nights at the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort in southern Bavaria. It was breathtaking. So much so, that I think I spent less than 30 minutes reading X the entire time. Plus, I think my wife would have fed me my phone if she had caught me. 🤣
