The lush green hills of Masisi are breathtaking, providing a beautiful landscape view of the area in North Kivu. Though overtaken by M23 Rebels who have been in Congo since 2013, Masisi maintains a sense of calm and serenity. Looking forward to the next adventure.

1st time I travelled was when I ran away from home & came to Fort Jesus which was built by the Portuguese in 1593 to protect the port of Mombasa. Fort Jesus was my safe haven when I left home so it's safe to say that this is a full circle moment for me.
