Last week CST/PCU recovered a stolen Range Rover that was re-vinned and about to be sold to an unsuspecting buyer. The team has been investigating a fraud ring for several months. This is the 3rd re-vinned stolen vehicle recovered totalling around $150,000 combined.

CST and PCU concluded a drug trafficking project with the arrest of one male and one female. In total over 11 oz of cocaine, 43g of fentanyl, (street value $35k in drugs) and over $6000 cash was seized. Both were charged with several offences and are currently in custody.

CST/PCU assisted patrols yesterday with a suspicious vehicle complaint. This led to search warrants being executed at a residence and two vehicles, resulting in the seizure of 10 oz fentanyl, 3 oz meth, and nearly $10k. One female has been charged with drug trafficking offenses.

CST/PCU again participated in project Prevail assisting the Downtown Policing Unit. 1 male is facing drug trafficking charges after being found selling drugs to the vulnerable population.

CST and PCU assisted SCAN with surveillance on a stolen vehicle. 2 males were arrested in the vehicle and a small amount of drugs were seized. Also seized from inside the vehicle was a shotgun concealed in a jacket. Charges pending against both males.

Keen eyes of a CST member spotted a male driving a vehicle contrary to his release conditions. The male was arrested with the help of patrols and PCU, and his passenger happened to have warrants. Their vehicle was believed to be re-vinned and was seized for further examination.

CST/PCU concluded another short term drug investigation that led to the arrest of one male, the search of a vehicle and a residence. Some drugs and a large amount of cash were seized. This continues a very productive stretch for CST/PCU. Great teamwork leads to great results!

LPS has concluded Project HAVOC, a month-long initiative led by CST and PCU targeting drugs. HAVOC resulted in 61 charges, 8 search warrants, nearly $95k in drugs seized, along with 6 firearms and 5 vehicles linked to trafficking. Outstanding teamwork from the entire service!

CST and the LPS Property Crimes Unit located a male selling drugs to the vulnerable population in downtown Lethbridge this afternoon. He was arrested after trying to flee. Drug trafficking and proceeds of crime charges will be filed against the male.

CST, Traffic Unit, and the LPS Property crimes unit assisted Patrol officers in executing a search warrant in South Lethbridge. 3 stolen motorcycles and a decent amount of drugs were seized. Great collaboration and great work by LPS patrol officers!

LPS Patrols assisted CST with a traffic stop on an offender known to be out on house arrest. Offender was charged with breaching conditions, and a small amount of drugs were recovered in the vehicle. Any time drugs are taken off the street is a good day for CST!

@lethpolice members were able to arrest an out of town drug supplier after watching him reload local suppliers. Over $70000 dollars worth of drugs were seized from his hotel and on his arrest during a drug drop off. A significant amount of 💵 was also seized. Enjoy your weekend!

@LethbridgeCST were lead to a naughty local drug dealer by the Southern AB SCAN unit. Working together our teams watched this drug dealer do his crimes and when it was safe, CST arrested the male. His 💰 was seized, his 🚗 seized, and his drugs valued at over $30K seized.

LPS members stopped a male today and arrested him as they learned he had warrants. He had conditions for pending charges of drug dealing. Police seized weapons and drugs from the male and charged him with multiple offences. LPS will be opposed to his release.
