One group of Americans are intimately familiar with what's happening--people who grew up in the Jim Crow South. Folks aren't experiencing the violence in this picture...but are experiencing the white supremacist arbitrary use of power. This is what we're fighting.
And for those of you worried that the military will be invoked, and dithering that noncompliance is “just what they want,” let’s gooooo and make those images. If that’s where we are headed, hand-wringing temerity isn’t going to stop it.
