As an actual 30yo woman who hasn't had a period in over a decade due to medical reasons (they were so fucking horrendous they caused me seizures) I can absolutely say women who have periods have it worse & only a man who has never experienced menstruation would think otherwise.

I visited Parliament House in Canberra recently and this was the state of all their bathrooms, with the men's toilets being for men & the women's toilets being for "all genders":
The men get their own but the women have to share with the crazies, they could have made them all unisex but this is a dog whistle. Women lose their right to same sex toilets but men don't even in a setting like this. This is disgraceful. Privacy and dignity gone.

Keep in mind that most females in prison aren't there for violent offences, whereas most males (inc trans-identified males) are. Keep in mind that prisoners still deserve safety which is why we've always separated prisoners by security risk & why males are separated from females.
