Just did the cast member preview of “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure”….well that was God Awful.
It reeks of cheap unimaginative amateurish creative decisions. Seriously, there’s no story or what they make of the story is there looking for musicians to play a shindig that evening. 1/4

Splash Mountain was easily in my top 5 attractions of all time, a perfect ride & they’ve absolutely crapped all over it. This is by far one of the worst attractions I’ve ever seen at the Disney parks we’re talking Spider-man Web Slingers level of incompetence. Embarrassing.

Then for complete uncreative cherry on top,they resort to screens…that old reliable, universal screens.Just pathetic. You would think that the great villain Dr. Facilier from the film would’ve made an appearance especially the part of going over the drop. No nowhere to be found.

So Tiana, enlists the help of Louis the gator to help her find a band. So through various uninspiring animatronics of swamp critters playing, you have not once, but twice the gators ass as he looks for talent in the bayou. it’s like they didn’t wanna pay for a full animatronic.

So they give me model sheets of the characters to practice drawing, then a clean up test which actually was a scene…I turn in scene & the next day they closed the Florida studio. So did it make the film? probably not, but it was my first sweet bitter taste of that animation pie.

Well it’s the closest I ever got to be part of an animated feature film. A Satellite studio they set up at Disney/MGM studios next to Walt Disney animation Florida in one the production building. An ex-Disney animator was in charge of FLA unit for Meatball animation out of LA.
