We must think before we take action!
@LeoneIssues @elonmusk I had to scroll for three minutes to see that…finally someone gets the point. Never let the fox guard the henhouse! Why Government Should Not Be Run Like A Business

The buyout deal will lead to widespread unemployment. Workers who lose their jobs through no fault of their own will have to rely on unemployment benefits. However, these benefits will not be enough to maintain a high quality of life for them or their families. Creating hardship for families should not be the primary role of government.

@BrendanMcCormic @elonmusk We are looking forward to the indictments that DOGE will announce at the end of the exercise. I assume that the government will not borrow money again after this exercise.

RT @LeoneIssues: @elonmusk You’re all missing the point! Governments are not meant to operate for profit. Twitter (or X) is a for-profit co…

@elonmusk I believe in accountability and transparency. Government agencies undergo annual audits to ensure compliance with federal regulations. We can interpret this in various ways, but the core point remains: the government is not a profit-making entity.

@pepsiumar @CraigvsTheory @elonmusk That’s incorrect! Go back and read my post. Efficiency can only be achieved if the mission and goals of the government are accomplished with authorized, limited financial and human resources.

@DavidTevaga @elonmusk Literally USAID is one of the reasons America is great and number 1 the global for decades now. I totally agree we should put strong internal accounting controls in place to distinguish unauthorized use of taxpayers money.

@LucyFirSC @elonmusk We live in a globalized world where people are not isolated like islands. Issues affect everyone, and it’s a shared responsibility. For example, COVID-19.

@CryptoVonDoom @pepsiumar @elonmusk Not really! What is the mission and goal is the billion dollar question? We are against spending that does not line up with the mission and goals of the USA. We just have to make deliberate decisions.

@Dan1346475 @elonmusk Balancing the budget is a relative term taking into account natural disasters like the California wildfires, South Carolina disaster. We need to give the situation deliberate attention!

@seanmoore036 @elonmusk Loss is not appropriate in the government setting. I will rather say excess of expenditure over revenue. Why expenditures are more than revenues is what needs to be investigated. For example, COVID 19 outbreak was not budgeted for.

@John78122650 @elonmusk In short, I will put strong internal accounting controls in place that will prevent future waste. It should all be proactive not reactive! Let’s put citizens first.

@LegalMoonDust @elonmusk America is the greatest and safest place on earth because of what it was before this whole exercise started. We need to go back to the drawing board and reexamine the Elon’s approach. I believe in deliberate feasibility studies that shows respect for cost benefit analysis.

@YippeejJona @elonmusk I would not recommend that the government invest long-term at the expense of citizens’ welfare. The best way to protect government resources is through strong internal policies that prevent waste. This approach must be proactive, not reactive.

@estvoxpopuli @pepsiumar @elonmusk If Y is sitting in the cash box and it not use to serve X, X will be starved to death . Y is obvious. My logic. All the money ends up in uncle Sam’s pocket at the of the day.

@pepsiumar @elonmusk Government efficiency is measured by how many people it serves and its ability to improve their overall well-being.
