I just wonder what the decision making was here and how can my work guide people to improve the network, payment success and fees. Lightning will have a hard time succeeding at 0.45% sender fees. 0.05% is possible today, easily.

@gladstein @RMurathime I agree, but I’m concerned we’re going backwards. There are fewer services now that take Bitcoin than ten years ago, and especially useful services are still shutting down. Any place on BTCMap that has been verified more than 12 months ago is almost certain to no longer accept it
