Today's the day that Leland got to ring that 🔔 His transplant is complete & onto his next journey, recovery & staying healthy. I can't thank Ward 3 BMT @GreatNorthCH enough for fantastic care & treatment @AnthonyNolan for finding that match & everyone who has supported him

Two years ago @Popey1992 came to see Leland during his transplant after making it to the finals of the @Carabao_Cup. This year Leland was screaming @nufc on TV last night, then today's hospital visit showed he is flying in his recovery. So proud of how far he comes ❤️⚽⚫⚪

Please share and encourage others to sign up to the donor register to help find that special person that can give Abbie that second chance. Just like someone helped Leland. All it takes is a swab test to see if you are that match. 🙏🏻❤️

Thank you so much to former Millwall , England and of course Gateshead Redheugh player Alan Dowson who got some of his famous friends to wish Leland a Merry Christmas. Leland loved seeing this little video giving him the encouragement to keep fighting.
