Today our incredible LHS Rebel PTSA hosted a SOUPER BOWL lunch for our entire staff!! Crockpots full of delicious choices, desserts and smiling faces of happy staff made Friday at Rebel Nation the best place in town. Congratulations to our three National Merit Scholarship Finalists! This is a huge accomplishment for these three seniors, and who are destined for great things! This is the first time since 2020 MISD has had a finalist, and the first time we have had more than one since 2015! MISD is committed to enhancing our advanced academics as part of our Strategic Plan, and we look forward to even more students achieving this milestone in the future! Learning is REQUIRED at LHS…..it is what we do! In just two days of after school programs, our REMARKABLE EDUCATORS have led English, Math, and SAT/ACT Extended Learning Day sessions. In addition, REMARKABLE ADMINISTRATORS have started an Emergent Bilingual Academy that is now taking place M-TH for an hour after school.
