Director Timothy Stevens plays the Man in Black, and naturally that appeals to me on a nostalgic level considering the specifics of my CoS grotto affiliation back in the day. This indie endeavor has shaky acting and a low-budget vibe about it, but I did enjoy the story it told.

@Goddess__PauIa It’s the transition from ON to OFF that I’m loving. I’ll be greedy and say both are necessary.

And this is by no means a Movie of the Day post. I had initially intended to feature this film on Friday what with Valentine’s Day coming up, but I cannot do so in good conscience. I’m all for featuring bad films, but this doesn't even earn that title. Avoid this one like plague.

On February 9, 1895: William G. Morgan invented a non-contact team sport called mintonette. The name was later changed to volleyball. 🏐

@HellOnWheels616 You hear about the dentist who wished his Satanist patient a “Happy Hole-i-day!” and “Shemhamforbrush!” on Walpurgisnacht while drillin’ and fillin’ cavities? I’m here all week. 🦷

While I did not love this film, it set out to honor the memory of horror giant George Romero, who hailed from Pittsburgh which is just about an hour outside of the 167-year-old farmhouse where The Trip was filmed. I respect the intention to do him proud, even if it didn’t.
