@billycostigansr @NathanAClark yes, and how it is critical to the success of angeball. the back ups will need to be very good. i hope danso is. gray is far from being strong enough currently and is probably keen to revert to midfield.

@billycostigansr @NathanAClark I took Nathan's point to be that Angeball is heavily reliant on excellent distribution under pressure from the centre backs. And I'm not sure there's evidence to suggest Ange can find ways around not having this quality in his team.

@billycostigansr @NathanAClark Would having a passer as amazing as Toby Alderweirald in reserve covering the amazing passer that is Romero be bad? No, it would not. Do you think Danso is able to offer us similar passing to Romero?

@NathanAClark It's great but the problem of having a style reliant on having a generational world class passer at CB is that you won't find one willing to be his cover.

@SteveArchibald8 Glenn didn't say runners he said your finishing and your movement were outstanding and took the team to the next level (you and Crooksie).

@henrywinter The last line makes it sound like you think they can change the mentality without changing the Chairman and/or the coach.

@GrahamRoberts4 @jamiedonley9 Home grown English left footed maestro Spurs fan with a good personality. What more could we ask for? Rooting for him.

@Baddiel Apropos of nothing, when I see Jason Cundy's name, why on earth am I always put in mind of Dave Clifton? It's driving me mad.

@4golfonline Going 'up' with your body in the backswing and creating a ground reaction force with your left foot in the downswing that pushes it backwards and clears your left hip. No idea why this increases speed but evidently it does.

@PaigeSpiranac Face sends it, face-to-path bends it. (It has to start where the face is pointing because it is literally bouncing off the face).

@tSHandJ 2ndFeb 07:44 Cas has the concept of abbreviation the wrong way around: "Man United, or Manchester United as I like to call them"

@BarethGale23 @curlycaff @LastWordOnSpurs Simon Yecope told all Spurs fans that if they weren't finding Conteball entertaining they didn't understand football. Now he pontificates about Angeball like he wouldn't have football played any other way at Spurs and nor should we.

@CarlyOnYouSpurs But I read you can't expect Angeball to work unless the manager is given 2 backup CBs pretty much just as good as VDV and Romero.
