Fact-check: not true. The city administration and Council led by Speaker Colleen Makhubele (from two-seat Cope) shut down efforts to deal with hijacking syndicates. The Speaker has been at the forefront of attacking civil society.

Another contempt order issued against the COJ and City Manager. I suspect the inept ANC/ EFF/ PA coalition will blame the DA again for their complete failure to govern properly and irregular appointment of a city manager.

The new temporary Mayor of Joburg has created a mess of epic proportions. He & his coalition reject the city's short term loan while it was viable, for grandstanding & political points, he now brings back the same loan, albeit no longer valid (expired) and approves it 🙆🏾♀️
